Swimming competition starts at Port of Aden

Port of Aden in Tawahi directorate launched the eleventh competition of swimming in the open water, in the presence of the President of the International Swimming Federation Hussein Al-Muslimi, the President of the Yemeni General Swimming and Aquatic Federation Khaled Mohsen Khulaifi, and several other officials.

Khalifa praised the great efforts made by the International Federation, represented by its president, Hussein Al-Muslimi, to alleviate the suffering and write a new history for the local sport of swimming in light of the difficult conditions in which the sport is going through.

He pointed out that national swimming lacks the most basic elements, as it does not have any infrastructure, hoping to complete the awaited dream in the establishment of an Olympic-size swimming pool that contributes to embracing the competitions.
