Palestinian woman turns wood into works of art

Fatima Fayyad was inspired by the farms around her home to start her project of selling handmade art pieces. She collects wood from the farms and transforms it into artifacts.

Fatima, who made the yard of the house a wood-cutting workshop, makes pieces according to seasons and annual holidays and then promotes them through social media. She is looking forward to owning her tools instead of renting them, to help her continue her work, which has become her source of living.
