Kurds celebrate Nowruz in northeastern Syria

Kurdish people in northern and eastern Syria celebrated the National Day of Kurds, Nowruz. On this day, Kurds dress up in their traditional costumes, party outdoors, and make delicious food to celebrate the coming of spring. Before the outbreak of the Syrian crisis, residents of the region were forbidden to celebrate Nowruz for a long time, but now they celebrate freely.
