Demands to enact laws to protect women from violence

Coinciding with Women’s Day, civil society organizations in Iraq called for the enactment of new laws and amendments to the current laws to protect women from domestic and workplace violence, since the Iraqi constitution includes gaps in some legal clauses that would disturb women’s life.
