Citizens of Gaza commemorate Land Day along eastern border

Several citizens in Gaza participated in commemorating Land Day along the eastern border of Gaza, including Palestinian leaders and human rights activists.

Some Palestinian refugees recalled the occupied land they left in 1948, as well as their farmlands and the life they used to live that still lingers in their minds.

Some attendees declared their everlasting adherence to Palestinian rights ensured to them through international norms and covenants, hoping the return of all refugees to their homes the and land of their ancestors that they left unwillingly.

They demanded that the world stand with Palestinian refugees as Palestine is the only country still occupied by Israel. Attendees also raised photos and signs expressing their cause and demands.
