Agriculture Week kicks off in Baghdad International Fair

The Iraqi Minister of Agriculture, Mohammad Khafaji, inaugurated the activities of the 13th agriculture week at Baghdad International Fair. The event themed “Protecting and supporting the agricultural product is a guarantee to achieve sustainable food security” will run until the 25th of March.

Khafaji said that the ministry intends to support farmers through developing legislation and laws that serve the agricultural sector, adding that this sector is one of the main activities that contribute to strengthening national security, as it is linked to achieving food security.
