Under the theme of “Puppetry, Art and Life”, the 3rd edition of the Carthage Puppetry Arts Days (JAMC) kicked off at the City of Culture in Tunis. The week-long festival will feature 65 shows from 18 countries.
Monia Al-Masadi, head of the National Center for Puppetry Art, said that the JAMC is back after two years of absence due to the pandemic. Arab and Western countries are participating in the event including the Czech Republic, Iceland, Spain, and Belgium.
She added that the festival includes seminars and performances, in addition to an exhibition about types of puppets.
