Ulaanbaatar launches an exhibition of LGBTQI artists

Under the “Art for Rights” initiative, the LGBTIK Central NGO organized an art exhibition called “QUEER ARTIST” for LGBTIC artists with the support of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Goethe Institute.

A total of 21 artists are participating in the exhibition with their works that express the voice of human rights and equality and raise awareness of LGBT issues.

The works on display at the exhibition include video art, photography, and works of art.

E.Enkhmaa, director of the LGBTQI Center, said they aim to build relationships between artists to work jointly to create a union.

Artist Kenna said the exhibition gave her an opportunity to communicate her message of being accepted by society and convey to them the way they feel.
