Tunisia is gearing up to host the second edition of the nationwide reading competition, which kicks off on Saturday, February 5, and concludes next November. The event is divided into three stages; local, regional, and then national qualifications. The competition is open to all public libraries subscribers, who are assigned a specific number of books, according to their age groups, that must be read and summarized in a certain notebook. The competition aims to initiate motivation towards reading, turn it into a habit, and encourage the readers.
