Tishreen youth movement launched a humanitarian aid initiative entitled” “consider them your own family’ amid displaced people’s distress calls for help, given the lack of governmental aid and unbearable low temperatures in Sulaymaniyah.
The initiative provided bereaved families with 700 blankets, 30 heaters, 1000 children’s winter clothes.
Most of the displaced families live in makeshift camps in Dokan District affiliated with the Sulaymaniyah Governorate.
Displaced families expressed their gratitude, as they demanded the government to assume its responsibilities by meeting their needs and to find a fundamental solution to their plight.
