The 15th meeting of Executive Council of Arab Women Organization in Baghdad concludes

The extraordinary 15th meeting of the Executive Council of the Arab Women Organization has concluded in Baghdad, after hosting women ministerial figures from several Arab countries in addition to regional and international organizations for two days.

The meeting raised issues affecting women in the Arab world such as sexual harassment, societal and family violence, and the challenges that occur due to the repercussions of wars and conflicts.

The meeting aims to address these issues through the enactment of laws and the exchange of ideas and experiences, as well as empower women politically, economically and socially to achieve equality with men.
