Iraqi fashion designer opens a fashion house in Sulaymaniyah

Iraqi fashion designer Rana Sama’an achieved great success in the fashion design business despite many obstacles and challenges facing the fashion industry in Iraq.

Her story began when she designed her own dress when she was only 15 after she had learned a lot about sewing with the help of her mother. Sama’an continued her successful march by participating in fashion exhibitions in Iraq and abroad, especially in the United States where she had received support from her husband.

The Iraqi designer is in Iraq now and has opened her own fashion house in Sulaymaniyah, where fashion now receives more popularity and passion.
