Sulaymaniyah hold artistic event on the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence

The Indian Consulate in Kurdistan organized a celebration of the 73rd Republic Day, attended by the Indian Consul in Kurdistan and several provincial officials, in Sulaymaniyah, the city of culture and arts in the region.

A group of dancers from India and Kurdistan presented various performances attended by hundreds of Indian art lovers that included several folkloric dancers of the Indian and Kurdish peoples, as part of efforts to consolidate friendship and strengthen cultural and artistic ties between the two countries.
