Arab coalition intensifies attacks on Houthi strongholds southern Ma’rib

The Saudi-led Arab coalition reported that 24 air operations have been carried out during the last 24 hours in Ma’rib Governorate, resulting in the destruction of 16 Houthi military vehicles, and the killing of more than 70 fighters.

Fierce battles between the government forces and the Houthis proceed on several fronts, southern Ma’rib, coinciding with the advance of the large forces backed by intense air cover of the coalition aircraft towards the center of the Abdiya district after the liberation of the Harib district.

The death toll from the Houthi shelling on a residential neighborhood near the headquarters of the Third Military Region in Ma’rib has grown to seven victims, including a woman, and 35 injured, including five children.

According to the Yemeni Landmine Monitor, one civilian and two demining workers have also been killed while dismantling explosive devices in Harib District, Marib, increasing the total number of victims of this type of prohibited Houthi weapons to 52 dead and 55 injurded within less than a month.
