Al-Amaleqa brigades liberate Bayhan district in Shabwa

The Al-Amaleqa Brigades (Giants Brigades) have announced the liberation of the Bayhan District in the Shabwa Governorate in eastern Yemen, after the end of the second phase of an operation dubbed “Cyclone of the South.” The forces confirmed control of the Al-Saha area, the center of the Numan district, the first district of Al-Bayda governorate in central Yemen. It confirmed their readiness to advance towards the southern areas of the Houthi-controlled Ma’rib governorate. The 6-hour ultimatum previously set by the Amaleqa Brigades to the Houthi group to withdraw from the Ain district, the last Houthi stronghold in Shabwa, has expired.
