28 Casualties in a Houthi Missile Attack on Marib

Iran-backed Houthi militias launched ballistic missiles on the densely populated Matar neighborhood in the center of Marib, killing 28 civilians including women and children.

According to emergency medical services, 5 civilians were killed, including a woman while 23 were wounded, including a woman and 5 children according to preliminary numbers.

Ambulances rushed to the Matar residential neighborhood, as wounded civilians were transferred to the Marib General Hospital and the Military Hospital.

According to informed resources, some of them were in critical condition and were admitted to the intensive care unit.

Houthi militias said that the attack targeted pro-government forces stationing in the third military region in Marib Governorate Houthi military spokesman Brigadier-General Yahya Saree said that the ballistic missile hit its target in the third military region in Marib, killing and wounding dozens of government forces.
