Using “STRONG Model” to establish STRONG Learning Centre at Ban Thung Sin Kru Daeng

The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) of Nong Khai Province has organized the STRONG Project – Sufficiency Against Corruption Nong Khai Province Activities to connect youth networks Between 30 November – 1 December 2021.

The target group is a youth network who is a member of the STRONG Club – Sufficiency Against Corruption.  Nong Khai Province and the youth network of the Nong Khai Provincial Children’s Council of 50 people by foreseeing the importance of youth as a learning age.

If this group of people is cultivated in the concept of discrimination of personal and collective interests, shame and intolerance to corruption as well as having knowledge and understanding of the laws related to conflicts of interest will make this group can help transform Thai society into a society that is not resistant to corruption. This will result in the society reducing corruption problems in the future.

Therefore, the NACC Office of Nong Khai Province organized activities to connect youth networks with the objectives to recommend presenting the model concept that applies the philosophy of sufficiency economy with transparency. Distinguishing personal interests and common interests aware of the problems and dangers of corruption together to develop communities to have generosity based on ethics and self-sufficiency which on November 30, 2021, organized activities at Sangthong Resort, Tha Bo District, Nong Khai Province by Mr. Nuon Tobutr, Tha Bo District Chief was honored to be the chairman of the project opening speech and Ms. Chantira Phatthanakonsitanon Director of the NACC Office of Nong Khai Province report to the chairman of the ceremony After that the activities were divided into practice groups on the topic. Distinguishing personal interests and collective interests Youth Leadership Skills to Raise Integrity Consciousness and techniques for disseminating model concepts.

STRONG – Sufficiency against Corruption to Networks and Communities by speakers from EQ Group and on December 1, 2021, in the morning conducted group practice activities on the topic of basic resuscitation skills in emergency situations, (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation: CPR) on the basis of generosity, morality, ethics, self-sufficiency and volunteerism by speakers from Somdej Phra Yuparat Tha Bo Hospital And in the afternoon, travel to Ban Thung Sin Kru Daeng Sufficiency Economy Learning Center. For a field trip, doing activities and signing a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of the STRONG Model Learning Center – Sufficiency Mind.

STRONG – Sufficiency Against Corruption Nong Khai Province Branch 2 (temporary branch) led by Ms. Chantira Phatthanakonsitanon Director of the NACC Office of Nong Khai Province, Mr. Chalermsak Thammaruangrit (Kru Daeng), owner of the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center at Ban Thung Sin Kru Daeng, Assistant Professor Damon Kamtrai, coach of the STRONG Club– Sufficiency Against Corruption Nong Khai Province and Ms. Apiradi Mingwong Public Relations Club.

STRONG – Sufficiency against Corruption Nong Khai Province signed a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of the STRONG Learning Center – Sufficiency Against Corruption Nong Khai Province Branch 2 (temporary branch) between the NACC Office in Nong Khai Province with the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center at Ban Thung Sin Kru Daeng which is part of the STRONG project – Sufficiency Against Corruption Nong Khai Province Fiscal Year 2022.

Learning Center Development Activity at Ban Thung Sin Kru Daeng Sufficiency Economy Learning Center to disseminate and publicize the concept of the STRONG Model – Sufficiency in Anti-Corruption, the work of the STRONG Club – Sufficiency Against Corruption. Nong Khai Province and publicize the information of the NACC Office in Nong Khai Province with Mr. Buntham Dee Man, Vice Chairman of the Nong Khai Provincial Governance Committee and is a member of the STRONG Club – Sufficiency Against Corruption in Nong Khai Province Join to witness the signing ceremony of this memorandum.

After signing a memorandum of the agreement Mr. Chalermsak Thammaruangrit and Mr. Paiboon Thammaruangrit led the delegation to study work within the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center. Then, they drew together and painted. Under the concept of the STRONG model, create life according to the philosophy of sufficiency economy. To allow the youth to convey their own knowledge and understanding of the STRONG model through drawings so that others can understand concretely.
