Sulaymaniyah Hosts its First-Ever International Literature Festival

The first-ever literature festival was launched in al-Sulaymaniyah Art hall, under the motto “With our sweet words, we embrace your memories” amid remarkable attendance of prominent poets, authors, and artists from the Kurdistan Region, Turkey, Syria, Denmark, France, and Holland. The three-day festival will discuss significant Kurdish Literature researches and history, not to mention that it includes a book fair and a photo exhibition. It is worth mentioning that (UNESCO) has designated Sulaymaniyah as a Creative City of Literature.
