Eyewitnesses: Basra explosion is a wake-up call to reassess the security measures

According, eyewitnesses, the explosion that occurred, today, in Basra Governorate, is a security breach since it has rendered Basra a risky city, prompting authorities to reassess the security measures in place. Iraqi’s Security Media Cell said that four people died and four others were wounded in a motorcycle blast in Basra, according to the initial outcome. The explosion came as a shock, especially since the oil-rich city of Basra has not seen any explosions in recent years, since the ISIS defeat in 2017.
