Climate change causes a reduction in Tunisia’s agricultural lands
In a recent study, the Tunisian Forum for Economic and Social Rights (FTDES) stated, that the fertile lands and the lands for large agriculture in Tunisia are decreasing owing to climatic changes and global warming. The forum anticipated that the country’s grain crops would shrink by around 30% by 2030, while fertile lands would drop by nearly 50% by the end of this century, which was supported by some experts.
