With two Omicron cases confirmed, Prime Minister Hun Sen has called on everyone to be on the alert, both locals and foreigner residing in the Kingdom, and strictly adhere to the Covid-19 preventive measures of the 3 dos and 3 don’ts.

Saying this during the inauguration ceremony of the Morodok Techo National Stadium today where the Sea Games – Asean Para Games 2023 will be hosted by Cambodia, Mr Hun Sen said it is important that people avoid crowded places and maintain social distancing while following the preventive measures such as wearing facemask and using hand sanitisers or washing hands with soap and water frequently.

Asking people not to take the Covid-19 variant lightly, Mr Hun Sen said the nation is not out of the woods where the Covid-19 pandemic is concerned, especially now with the emergence of the Variant of Concern, the Omicron, which is spreading rapidly across the globe.
