Cambodia PM Hun Sen to visit Myanmar in early January

Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will pay a visit to the Union of Myanmar on Jan. 7-8, 2022, at the invitation of his Myanmar counterpart Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, said this following the meeting here this morning between Hun Sen and visiting Wunna Maung Lwin, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Special Envoy of the Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister of Myanmar.

In the meeting, he added, Hun Sen and Wunna Maung Lwin discussed the strengthening of Cambodia-Myanmar relations and cooperation as well as ways for better cooperation and solidarity of ASEAN.
