A fatal traffic accident in Kampot province leaves 4 dead, 7 injured

The fatal traffic accident in Kampot province’s Bokor city on Saturday left four people dead and seven others sustained serious injuries when a truck rammed into a minivan they were traveling in.

The accident took place on Saturday morning in Boeng Touk commune’s Kep Thmey village when the truck loading with construction material had a left, front flat tire, swerved off, and crashed heads on with the van, police said.

After the accident, the truck driver fled, police said, noting that some of the passengers were trapped in the van.
