Yemeni Riyal Depreciation Increases poverty and famine rates in Aden
Deteriorating humanitarian and economic conditions in the Yemeni city of Aden is not different from the situation in the other governorates, where the collapse of the Yemeni riyal exchange rate led to unprecedented rises in food prices, which cast a shadow over the situation, and increased the spread of poverty and famine among the population, as the salaries of Yemeni citizens are no longer enough to buy food, in addition to their inability to pay the bills. Mohammed Rashad says that the living conditions have become very deteriorating, despite his average income, but he is now unable to buy his food needs.
