Photo gallery demonstrates negative aspects in Yemeni society
A group of Yemeni artists held a three-day photo gallery in Aden, entitled “A Point Below The Line”, to display drawings, paintings, and artworks reflecting the negative aspects of Yemeni society. The exhibition organizers say that these aspects are key causes for the current state of deterioration at all levels. The gallery focused on several behaviors like the consumption of khat, “sniff” and Indian betel leaf, as well as shooting at weddings and events.
