Today, Saturday, as the first of its kind in MENA, the Virtual and Augmented Reality Technology Conference were launched in Amman Chamber of Industry. The launch of these events coincided with the opening of the first academy in this region for virtual reality, under the name of the International Academy of Virtual Reality for Research and Training. The Academy CEO, Mike Jabarin, indicated that the conference has three strategies, represented in building the basic foundation for the companies, universities and everyone who is interested in this science, then to ensure that good and strong training is provided in cooperation with the British Academy, and then to conduct exams after training and grant certificates through which any company in the world can attract its bearer, especially in Jordan. Academy Director Nidal Khourma pointed out that virtual reality technology is the latest in science, and the Academy is keen to reach Jordanian youth, and the aviation sector is one of the vital sectors that apply this technology, through the implementation of a number of training courses for pilots and their assistants.
