Cambodian PM to join ASEAN-China Special Summit

The Summit will be held in order to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the ASEAN-China Dialogue Relations.

Mr Hun Sen was invited by the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping.

This is according to a press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Prime Minister Hun Sen will be accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Prak Sokhonn, the Minister of Commerce, Pan Sorasak, the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Dr Hang Chuon Naron, and other government officials during the meeting which will be held on November 22.

The participants of the Summit are expected to discuss the future trajectory of the ASEAN-China relations.

They will also be discussing ways to enhance the cooperation between the ASEAN and China.

Participants will also discuss regional and international issues whereof which they share common and the interest of the entire region, the press release further stated.
