Cambodia: 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign kicks off today

Today kicks off the annual 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign. In the spirit of the campaign, The Asia Garment Hub will highlight resources, news, and multimedia content focused on a broad spectrum of gender-related issues in the garment sector.

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that starts on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.

The campaign was started in 1991 by activists from the first Women’s Global Leadership Institute and has been coordinated by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership annually since then.
