Protests against “Beirut Port” judge result in heavy gunfire

Today, Thursday, Tayouneh and the “Adliya” area in Beirut experienced intense clashes and shooting, in conjunction with protests called by the supporters of Hezbollah and the “Amal Movement”, in front of the Palace of Justice against Tariq Bitar, the judge of the “Beirut Port”. Videos on social media showed scenes of violence and firing at protesters, resulting in the death of one person and significant injury of others.
