A youth Group launches Campaign against Child Abuse

On behalf of Schleier Committee, a group of young people launched a campaign under the slogan ‘Our children are the hope of the future’, to combat Child Abuse in various regions of north and east Syria, and aims to support children and keep them away from the state of war and crisis that the country has been experiencing for more than 10 years. The campaign targeted 4 different areas of the Syrian upper Mesopotamia, including villages and displacement camps. The campaign organizers gave children watches bearing its logo, and then held a party that included singing and dancing activities in order to bring joy and pleasure into the hearts of the children. The campaign supervisors pointed out that they carried out it based on their repeated observations regarding scenes of child exploitation, employment, kidnapping, and killing, in addition to many unfair practices against childhood.
