A Couple Inaugurate an Art Gallery in Amuda
The couple Walid Al-Husseini and his wife, Nafia Noaman, opened an art gallery of their works in the city of Amuda in Hasakah, which contains artistic paintings and portraits of the husband, while the wife had the handicrafts and traditional works. The paintings included various topics that reflect most of the events and suffering that the people of the region experienced in northern and eastern Syria, also, handicrafts came as an imitation of ancient traditional works, such as purses, bags, embroidery, and more. The wife says that she owns pieces of works dating back 80 years and that her works come from her love for heritage. While the attendees expressed their need for such works to enjoy a space of love and beauty, especially in light of the conditions that the region and Syria are generally going through.
