Three flee COVID quarantine in Cambodia

Authorities are searching for 3 COVID-19 patients who are reported to have escaped from quarantine.

Ratanakkiri Provincial Health Department says that the 3 men escaped from Ratanakkiri Provincial Referral Hospital.

The three have been named as Cham Sovath, 31 years old and Khon Sovann, 31 years old, both of Krala village, Ekpheap commune, O’Chum district, Ratanakkiri province. A third escapee has not been named.

The Department of Health of Ratanakkiri Provincial Administration once again called on the people with COVID to follow the treatment measures of the Ministry of Health and avoid escaping, which could endanger their own health, the general public and their families.
