With the approach of the parliamentary elections in Iraq and the announcement of the Commission to complete its technical procedures for the polling day on October 10th, Iraqis’ opinions varied about the extent of their participation for change, some demanded that the participation be strong and effective in selecting new candidates from the youth group who don’t belong to the dominant parties in power, in order not to return the political class that, for 18 years, has caused widespread corruption, unemployment and a lack of services, while others explained that the loss of confidence in the elections has become a feeling that haunts many because of the failure of the policies of previous governments to build the state as a result of the ongoing conflicts between the political class.
