A wave of nocturnal protests in Aden governorate, the provisional capital of Yemen, led to road blockings and tire burnings in the city, protesting the decadent situation in the economy and services within the governorate. Eyewitnesses stated that a civilian was killed and others were injured as a result of a violent explosion that occurred in the city of Sheikh Othman north of Aden. Witnesses pointed out that the man fell dead due to an explosion of a bomb thrown by an armed group at a car in the Sheikh Othman area, the largest city in Aden in terms of population density.
