Mongolia-Cuba collaboration in education

Mongolia’s Ambassador to Cuba Sh.Battsetseg on Sept 17 met with the Cuban Minister of Higher Education José Ramón Saborido and exchanged viewpoints on cooperation in the field of education.

The parties reconfirmed their dedication to make strong efforts for developing ties between universities of the two countries, taking into account the significant role of education sector in bilateral relations.

The Cuban government has provided scholarships to more than 140 Mongolian students so far. They have been studying to be highly qualified professionals, doctors and specialists in their fields.

Starting from this academic year, Mongolia’s Ministry of Education and Science has begun providing scholarships to Cuban students.
