Chinese national arrested for deadly crash

A Chinese man was arrested after he collided with a female motorcyclist and killed her.

The deadly accident happened on the night of September 29, in Preah Sihanouk at the O1 Bridge. The Chinese man, identified as 26-year-old Tang Wei, is a resident of Preah Sihanouk. The female who was killed in the crash has not yet been identified.

Tang was driving a white Land Cruiser bearing the license plate Phnom Penh 2BH-2123. He was driving in a west to east direction before hitting the back of a black HONDA C125 without a license number. After the car collided with the motor, Tang tried to escape and ended up hitting two more parked motorcycles.

After the accident, the man was taken by police for questioning, while the car and motorcycles were taken for evidence.
