Yazidis: August 3 marks the anniversary of ISIS heinous massacres against the sect’s people

Dozens of Yazidis from northern and eastern Syria marched on the outskirts of Al-Hasaka joined by representatives from northern Syria’s components, they recalled the Sinjar massacre carried out by ISIS on August 3, 2014, against the Yazidi towns and their residents, raised the flags of the Yazidis’ holy sites and pictures of the catastrophe they witnessed and called on international human rights organizations and institutions to intervene to identify the Yazidi women and children whose fate is still unknown, as well as to recognize August 3 as the 74th anniversary of the Yazidi religion genocide.
