The Tunisian Jibbah, men’s garment reproduced for women

The jibbah is a traditional Tunisia men’s garment, where men have worn it for generations, and it is a dress with various embroidery that is usually hand-made. Several designers still maintain their original manufacturing guidelines, but today it has become more developed with the ongoing improvements, whether at the level of embroidery, colors, or fabrics. The jibbah also became a women’s clothing after it was developed and sewed in a particular style for women, whereas, embroidery is used in numerous traditional clothing items.
