The Prime Minister of Mongolia Meets with the President of Korea

The Prime Minister of Mongolia L. OyunErdene met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Kim Bookyum to exchange views on how to transform the comprehensive Mongolia-Republic of Korea partnership into a strategic partnership and bilateral economic development projects. The Prime Minister of Mongolia also met with representatives from the ExportImport Bank of Korea. At the meeting, Korean Eximbank chairman and chairman Bang Moonkyu congratulated the Mongolian government on fully vaccinating 60 percent of the population against the coronavirus and pointing out global economies. For his part, Prime Minister OyunErdene stressed that Mongolia greatly appreciates the official development aid of the Government of the Republic of Korea and appreciates its significant influence on Mongolia’s social and economic growth. Noting that bilateral relations and cooperation have been strengthened, and credit and development aid have progressed despite the difficult circumstances of the pandemic, the Prime Minister noted the need to accelerate development projects for residential complexes Solongo 1 and 2, rental apartments next to Mount Bayangol and central heating for 10 rural aimags in collaboration with the Government of the Republic of Korea.
