Over 67,000 members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
In a statement on Wednesday, PNP chief, Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, said 67,498 or 30.47 percent of the police force’s 221,000 personnel nationwide have completed two doses of Covid-19 vaccine while 66,968 or 30.38 percent have already received their first dose.
“With this, there are only 87,040 or 39 percent of our police personnel who has not been vaccinated as of Wednesday. Sa pagdating ng mga karagdagang mga bakuna sa bansa, umaasa po tayo na sa mga susunod na buwan ay fully vaccinated na po ang buong kapulisan (With the arrival of additional vaccines in the country, we hope that the entire police force will be fully vaccinated in the coming months),” Eleazar said.
