Following the heinous suicide blast that took place in the perimeter of Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport on Thursday, Abdul Hamid, a survivor and an eye-witness of the blast narrated the panic that prevailed after the incident. Hamid, who is a nurse, pointed out that they received about 55 wounded all at once, indicating that many injured citizens were left bleeding as they ran out of beds. Moreover, he made it clear that most of the casualties were killed in the shooting spree. Citizens, who came from all across Kabul to submit their documents to be evacuated, illustrated that the moment the blast occurred, they lost contact with their families, and some were servilely wounded.
