Doctors: Most citizens avoid vaccination due to lack of awareness and rumors

Doctors and specialists stated that most citizens in Baghdad and other governorates avoids vaccination against Covid for about a year due to the lack of health awareness and the large number of rumors against vaccination, Not wearing masks and the lack of commitment to social distancing were among the main reasons for the surge of the infection among Iraqis, reaching its rates to more than 12 thousand positive cases, and daily dozens of deaths, according to official health sources, in addition to a dangerous epidemiological situation that the government crisis cell warns of its repercussions, and the Ministry of Health’s fears of the emergence of a fourth wave carrying a viral mutation.
