Sedition Case’s Defendants sentenced to 15 years

The State Security Court (SSC) on Monday sentenced Bassim Awadallah and Sharif “Abdul Rahman Hassan” bin Zaid to 15 years in prison in the “sedition case”. The former was found guilty of the first two charges while the latter was found guilty of the three charges. Sharif Hassan will also serve an additional year as he was found guilty of substance possession and use. Both were found guilty of sedition and incitement charges
