Governor of Phnom Penh – Cambodia: The Capital COVID19 vaccination campaign was successfully completed, no one is at risk
At the closing ceremony of the COVID19 vaccination campaign in Phnom Penh on July 8, 2021, Phnom Penh Governor Khuong Sreng confirmed that the COVID19 vaccination campaign in Phnom Penh is closed and almost all are vaccinated, he said:
Vaccination campaign against COVID19 started on February 10th, so far we have decided to vaccinate almost all people in Phnom Penh [against] COVID19. They are all gone and only about 23,000 of our brothers are not vaccinated for health reasons and the doctors cannot. I would also like to inform you that there has been an average of more than 200 cases per day in Phnom Penh recently, although the transmission rate of the COVID19 virus has not decreased. Days, but vaccination will definitely help reduce their morbidity and mortality. I want to confirm that some of them have been vaccinated and are still infected, but the doctors treated them and they have recovered. In a short time, the governor also thanked the head of the royal government for providing free vaccines to the people.
