Under the patronage of Edward Said National Conservatory, Right to live society launched a music course for children with Down syndrome and those with autism. The training course aims at integrating those kids into society, improving their behavior while offering them an opportunity to enjoy themselves, given the appalling conditions they have been through. The repercussions of Coronavirus and the grueling war have had a chilling effect on children’s mental stability. The executive director of Right to live society, Ahmad El Helou illustrated that the purpose of the music course which is part of a children’s summer program for children with special needs is to discover children’s talents and musical taste. El Helou hopes the course would convey a message about those children’s right to healthcare, education, work opportunities, and the chance to be integrated into the society
