contractors in Sulaymaniyah demand 3 trillion Iraqi dinars from the Kurdistan Regional Government

The Kurdistan Contractors Union demanded the regional government to pay its debts, the 3 trillion Iraqi dinars, to them, which are from the funds of 4,000 projects, of which only 2,500 have been completed since 2014. The union’s president, Naji Ezz El-Din, stated that the regional government is in the process of allocating funds for new projects without paying for the projects that were suspended because of them.
