Pro-Iran Militias Intimidate and Assassinate Iraqi Activists

Since the outbreak of the Iraqi October revolution, tens of activists were assassinated and kidnapped. Civil activists pointed out that despite assassinating prominent figures such as Hisham Al-Hashemi, Tahseen Al-Shahmani, and Reham Yaqoub, no official investigation has induced any arrests of suspects. Survivors of the murdering attempts indicated that they have been threatened by pro-Iran militias.
