Murder suspect killed in Philippines


On Tuesday, when the police were about to give a correction order in Tondo Manila, the suspected leader of an organized crime group was killed.

Lieutenant Colonel Rosalino Ibay Jr. of the Special Mayor Response Team (SMaRT) said his agents and the Detective Special Operations Group, the Manila Police Department (MPD) homicide and Police No. 1 The bureau has been intercepted by 20-year-old Rommel Tiatco, who is wanted for the murder of MPD employee Sgt. Dranreb Cipriano in October 2020.

He is also the suspected leader of the Tiatco gang, which is suspected of robbery, car theft and drug use.

The suspect refused to surrender at his residence on Inocencio Street in Barangay 93 at around 8.30 am, leading to a gun battle.

He was pronounced dead when he arrived at the Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center.
