Income declaration form of presidential election candidates in Mongolia, assets are publicly available
Mongolia’s presidential election will be held nationwide on June 9, 2021. According to Article 10.6 of the Anti-Corruption Law, Article 11.2 of the Election Law and Article 28.3 of the Mongolian Presidential Candidate Election Law. Must submit a declaration of its interests, income and assets to the Independent Anti-Corruption Agency (IAAC). IAAC is preparing to register and receive the applicant’s income and wealth declaration form in the electronic system from May 3 to 4. According to Article 28.10 of the “Mongolian Presidential Election Law”, the candidate’s declaration of interests, income and assets submitted to the electronic system during the election will be published on the Internet and will be open to the public on May 24. , The 2021 General Election Committee organized an online meeting on April 21, 2021 and provided relevant authorities with detailed information on the above issues. Representatives of about 40 political parties, coalitions, governments and non-governmental organizations participated in the 2021 presidential election in Mongolia.In cooperation with the General Election Committee, IAAC produced a handbook called “Mongolian Presidential Candidate” and distributed it to relevant personnel.
