Despite the tough circumstances, incense becomes a successful women’s project in Aden


As their living conditions deteriorated due to war in Yemen, many women were forced to enter the labor market to earn a living. Sumaya Muhammad, a Yemeni woman who began selling in her home, expanded her business and opened a small shop of Adani incense and perfumes. Her project was well-received before People in the temporary Yemeni capital of Aden, especially at the start of Ramadan, as the city is famous for its flourishing of the incense trade during this month.
